About

Matthew is a doctoral student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Brigham Young University, advised by Dr. Cammy Peterson. He joined the MAGICC Lab in January 2023 and earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from BYU in April 2023. His research interests include numerical optimization, path planning, and controls.

Research

Matthew has contributed to the 4D Flight Path Conflict Detection and Resolution project since joining the MAGICC Lab in 2023. He has also worked to develop and expand the capabilities of the Graphs of Convex Sets (GCS) optimization framework in time-varying environments.
