Research Description: Robert is a PhD Candidate sponsored by the DoD SMART Scholarship in cooperation with the Sensors Directorate at the Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. He is currently a part of the indoor navigation research team, working to provide a vision-based aerail platform to autonomously navigate GPS-denied, cluttered environments.

Robert received his M.S. degree at BYU in 2009 under Dr. Ken Chase, through the assistance of the DoD PALACE Acquire Scholarship. He completed his B.S. degree at Utah State University in 2006.
